Go Team Artichoke
Here's something fun: The New Westminster Farmers' Market is having a contest between artichokes and eggplants, both of which appear on their logo. Our Executive Chef Darin heads up Team Artichoke, ripping eggplants to worthless rubbery pieces while showing how artichokes are a miracle food. Check out Darin's manifesto here. You can also vote for which vegetable you prefer. If you're not already familiar with it, the New Westminster Farmers' Market is at Tipperary Park (beside City Hall) Thursdays from 3-7pm.

Flamenco Contigo will be back Saturday, September 11, from 6-9pm at the Orange Room with guitar and dance. Paella and sangria will be available, turning our little corner of New Westminster into a piece of Espana!

The Orange Room is a family-run, locally owned and operated restaurant in uptown New Westminster. We serve certified organic meats, breads and tofu. Our eggs come from free-range chickens. The salmon is wild, not farmed.
Our dedication to quality food is surpassed by no one, and yet our prices won't require you to take out a second mortgage or promise favours to the godfather.
